Salone del Mobile 2027: where to stay
Short answer: 13–18 April 2027 at Fiera Milano Rho. From San Siro the halls are ~15 minutes by metro and the Fuorisalone districts ~25 — connected to both poles of Salone week without paying fair-week rates or sleeping in a fairground district.
The dates, and who gets in when
Ticket categories and prices are on the official site salonemilano.it; dates are those announced by the organiser.
The accommodation problem, in one line
Salone week fills the entire city: the 2026 edition closed with 316,342 visitors, up 4.5%. Hotels around the halls sell out first and raise rates first; the centre does the same because of the Fuorisalone. What stays reasonable is the area well connected to both, but inside neither bubble.
San Siro → Rho, door to hall
- M5 from San Siro Ippodromo (389 m from Meazza Suite) to Lotto: two stops.
- Change at Lotto onto the M1 towards Rho Fieramilano: the terminus opens into the East Gate.
- ~15 minutes in total. For the Fuorisalone in town: the same two stops to Lotto, then M1 — about 25 minutes.
Rho has over 10,000 parking spaces, but at indicative rates of € 14 up to four hours and € 20 beyond, plus queues at peak times. During Salone week the metro beats the car every single day.
A base that holds up for six fair days
- Breakfast before the doors open: a full kitchen means leaving at your own hour, no café queue.
- Fibre wi-fi and a high table by the window: the evening's emails and quotes get done at home.
- Dishwasher, iron and board: over a week of meetings this matters more than it sounds.
- Self check-in from 3 pm, including mid-fair arrivals.
When to book
As early as you can, and that is not a sales line: book between October and January and there is still choice at normal prices; search in March and you take what is left. If the appointment is already in the diary, lock the flat now.
