Where to stay for EICMA 2026, 3-8 November

Short answer: on the metro line to Rho, but not in Rho. EICMA fills the hotels around the fairground for a week; from San Siro the halls are about half an hour away by metro, and in the evening you are back in the city.

The dates

EICMA 2026 opens with two days for the trade and the press, Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 November, and is open to the public from Thursday 5 to Sunday 8 November, at Fiera Milano Rho (dates from eicma.it). If you come for the trade days, the nights that matter are 3 and 4 November; for the public days, from the 5th to the 8th.

From the flat to the halls

• On foot to the M5: San Siro Ippodromo is 389 metres from the flat, about five minutes.
• M5 to Lotto: two stops, Segesta and then Lotto.
• M1 to Rho Fieramilano: change at Lotto for the M1 towards Rho; the ride takes about 13 minutes and the terminus opens onto the East Gate (Porta Est).
• In all: about half an hour door to hall, a little more if you have just missed a train. No traffic, no parking, any weather.

Why not a hotel in Rho

During EICMA the hotels by the fairground raise their rates and sell out first. Staying on the M1 and M5 axis but outside the fair district costs less, and in the evening you are in the city rather than in an empty exhibition district.

Football the same week

Two evenings that week there is a game at San Siro: Milan v Ferencváros in the Europa League on Thursday 5 November at 6:45 pm and Inter v Como on Sunday 8 November at 6 pm. The streets near the stadium fill up for a few hours around kick-off, then empty again.

The flat

• 35 m² studio on the raised ground floor, up to 3 guests: a double bed plus a single.
• Self check-in from 3 pm with your own code, check-out by 10 am.
• Full kitchen, underfloor heating, fibre wi-fi, dishwasher.
• M5 metro 389 m away — San Siro Ippodromo, one stop before the terminus.
