Where to stay for Milano Home 2027, 21-24 January

Short answer: on the metro line to Rho, but not in Rho. From San Siro the halls are about half an hour away, with a real flat to work from in the evening instead of a fair-week hotel room.

The dates

Milano Home, the international fair for interiors and home decoration (formerly HOMI), runs from Thursday 21 to Sunday 24 January 2027 at Fiera Milano Rho (dates from the official site, milanohome.com). It is a trade fair for retailers, buyers and distributors.

From the flat to the halls

• On foot to the M5: San Siro Ippodromo is 389 metres from the flat, about five minutes.
• M5 to Lotto: two stops, Segesta and then Lotto.
• M1 to Rho Fieramilano: change at Lotto for the M1 towards Rho; the ride takes about 13 minutes and the terminus opens onto the East Gate (Porta Est).
• In all: about half an hour door to hall, a little more if you have just missed a train. No traffic, no parking, any weather.

A base for people who work

• Breakfast before the doors open: a full kitchen, so you leave calmly instead of queueing at a bar.
• Fibre wi-fi and a high table by the window for the end-of-day emails.
• Self check-in from 3 pm: arrive when you like, even with the fair already under way.
• Longer stays: dishwasher, iron and a real home for the whole fair week.

Why not a hotel in Rho

During the big shows the hotels by the fairground raise their rates and sell out first. Staying on the M1 and M5 axis but outside the fair district costs less, and in the evening you are in the city rather than in an empty exhibition district.

• 35 m² studio on the raised ground floor, up to 3 guests: a double bed plus a single.
• Self check-in from 3 pm with your own code, check-out by 10 am.
• Full kitchen, underfloor heating, fibre wi-fi, dishwasher.
• M5 metro 389 m away — San Siro Ippodromo, one stop before the terminus.
